Chloë
Sayers

Chloë Sayers (previously Smith) is an interdisciplinary artist based in Berwick-upon-Tweed. With a background in choreography, her practice explores relationships between people and place, bodies and landscapes, and often takes place outdoors.

Drawing on contemporary performance, installation, moving image and writing, Chloë’s practice is one that is fluid and shifting, making space for new ideas and ways of making. Her recent work explores themes of community and grief, exploring what it means to be connected to those, and the landscape, around us.

Recent projects include ‘This Endless Sea’, a six-screen installation housed inside a coastal shelter exploring a relationship between grief and the sea. A specially adapted version of ‘This Endless Sea’ was included as part of Light Moves 2023 at Limerick City Gallery of Art.
