Spiral comes to Carlow Arts Festival this June!

Spiral is a series of events exploring interactions between music, dance, visuals and film in unusual urban locations. On Sunday 11 June, Artist duos Bryan O’Connell and Nick Bryson, Jürgen Simpson and Angie Smalis, and Jenn Kirby and Isabella Oberländer will navigate the vivid possibilities of live electronic sound and dance performances.
Spiral is inspired by the outdoor live music movement taking place in Seattle, LA and Berlin known as ‘Modular on the Spot’. Audiences are invited to a drop-in to these durational performances.
Spiral has previously delighted audiences at Light Moves Festival, Limerick in 2021, and at Dublin Fringe Festival in 2022. Featured artists include Gareth Anton Averill, Neil O’Connor, Aoife de Mille, Somadrone, Lara Gallagher, Tadhg Kinsella, Pauric Freeman, New Jackson, Beatrice Dillon, Duncan Murphy, Tim Redfern, Dublin Modular, and Salma Ataya.
