Dunk Murphy is also known as Sunken Foal and a member of one of Ireland’s most influential electronic music groups Ambulance. His work focuses on sound design, composition for film and gallery installations. Championed by BBC1/ XFM DJ Mary Anne Hobbs, Today FM’s Donal Dineen and the late John Peel, Dunk’s music showcases a keen ear for a unique sound and compelling melody. He regularly arranges instrumentation for singers Glen Hansard, David Kitt and Carol Keogh.
As Somadrone and a member of The Redneck Manifesto, composer Neil O’Connor has toured in Europe, USA, Australia and Japan. His work has been shown/performed at Resonances Festival - IRCAM Paris, Institute of Contemporary Art, London and he has held residencies at the Massachusetts Museum of Modern Art and the Swedish institute of Electro-Acoustic Music Stockholm and has worked alongside the Bang on a Can Ensemble and David Crowell (Phillip Glass Ensemble). Neil is currently lecturing at the Digital Media Arts Research Centre at the University of Limerick.
